AI (Artificial Intelligence)

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a wide ranging branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. While AI is an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches, advancements in machine learning and deep learning, in particular, are creating a set of idea shift in virtually every sector of the tech industry. AI allows machines to model or even improve upon, the capabilities of the human mind. And from the development of self - driving cars to the rapid growth of generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's Bard, AI is increasingly becoming part of everyday life and an area companies across every industry are investing in.

Machine learning algorithm is fed data by a computer and uses statistical techniques to help it "learn" how to get progressively better at a task, without necessarily having been programmed for that task. And Deep learning is a type of machine learning that runs inputs through biologically inspired neural network architecture. Neural networks contain a number of hidden layers through which the data is processed, which allow machines to go for deep in learning, making connections and weighting input for the best results.

So the AI companies raised approx. $66.8 billion in funding in 2022 more than doubling the amount raised in 2020 because of its fast - paced adoption, AI is making waves in a variety of industries which seems beneficial for them like safer banking, better medicine, innovative media, AI in education, in customer service, in manufacturing units, transportation and more . Whereas AI seems as challenge for many, though AI is certainly viewed as an important and quickly evolving asset but many are worried and said AI is boon for many things like more scamps and threat to human privacy on social media, replacing human from their jobs however AI companies and industry stands to create jobs, too that some of are not even been invented yet.

AI algorithms grow more complex and powerful; AI technologies and the companies that created them have increasingly drawn scrutiny from regulators all over the world like The EU AI Act, The AI Bill of Rights, and The Bidden - Harris Executive Order on AI.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE is a complex and costly business and fortunately, there have been large and big advancements in computing technology, as indicated by Moore's Law, which states that the number of transistors on a microchip doubles about every two years while the cost of computers is halved. There are more new things will come up and the changes can be seen in both ways either in positive or negative.
