· Reptiles: Cold-blooded animals with scales or scutes, including snakes, lizards, and turtles.
· Amphibians: Animals that live both in water and on land during different stages of their life. Frogs, toads, and salamanders fall into this group.
· Fish: Aquatic animals with gills, scales, and fins. They include everything from goldfish and salmon to sharks and rays.
· Insects: The largest group of animals on Earth, characterized by three body parts, six legs, and often wings. Examples include bees, ants, and butterflies.
· Arachnids: Spiders, scorpions, and related creatures with eight legs and no antennae.
· Mollusks: Soft-bodied animals, some of which have shells. Examples include snails, octopuses, and clams.
· Crustaceans: Aquatic animals with hard exoskeletons and jointed legs, such as crabs, lobsters, and shrimp.
